WWE Raw Review 2/12/18: Second Chance Main Event Ends In Controversy


Rousey will show up to sign her Raw contract at the Elimination Chamber and we all know how contract signings usually go in WWE.

Minutes later, during a Facebook Live stream on WWE's page, Angle announced the first seven-man Elimination Chamber match at the February 25 pay-per-view. With the layout of the match already taking shape, there's no word yet whether it will start off as a Triple Threat or whether Balor and Rollins will be stuffed into the same chamber.

After the match, as the duo teased a handshake or a possible turn, Nia Jax rushed the ring and destroyed both women. Plus, two best friends collide as Bayley and Sasha Banks face off one-on-one in the Hugger's own hometown. Which one of these two former champions will pick up some major momentum before the Women's Elimination Chamber Match and will their friendship remain intact after all is said and done? She lost that night to Amanda Nunes but perhaps she will seek to gain some measure of retribution if and when someone steps into the ring with her at the Elimination Chamber.

The UFC legend made a stunning wrestling debut at January's Royal Rumble event. They have just been wrestling week after week with really no storyline. After Strowman was initially jumped while entering the ring, he countered Elias' attempt to hit him with a guitar by striking him down and adding a running powerslam.

Rollins joined the other four in Raw's main event as all five men battled for the chamber opportunity. They do have one more week of television to fill before the PPV, after all.

Her partner remains a mystery, although WWE would love Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson to be her partner.

Add to that the uncertainty surrounding Seth Rollins, the weird possible alliance between Alexa Bliss and Mickie James, and Braun Strowman and Asuka destroying everyone and everything in their sights, and Raw should be pretty good this week. But James saw her hot tag attempt intercepted when Deville took Bliss down from behind on the apron. The intensity continued to build to the finish when Reigns caught a top-rope leap from Sheamus with a spear for the 1-2-3.
