UFC discussing CM Punk return for June PPV

Despite being one of the only fighters in the entire roster with a 100 per cent loss rate, it looks as though CM Punk may have found his second UFC opponent. Fans might be more willing to purchase the PPV if they believe Punk stands a reasonable chance in the Octagon. "The Truth" took on Gall just seven months prior to Punk and lost in the very same fashion - first round submission.

CM Punk might actually have his second MMA fight as the UFC are discussing an opponent for him.

So is the insane reality that two men without a pro MMA victory between them will fight on the main card of a UFC event set to come to fruition?

So, he wants to fight one more time at least, and I figure, throw me in there. Punk has no amateur MMA experience to speak of and he does train with Roufusport out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Jackson, meanwhile, competed once in the UFC, losing via rear-naked-choke to Gall as well at UFC Fight Night 82 in February 2016.

"You're trying to make money, and that's really the only reason we're bringing this guy [Punk] in in the first place, and it seems what's best would be to allow me to fight him", Jackson said in February previous year. "He's a good dude", Dana White said.

"He wants to give it another shot".

"He's a completely different case than most normal human beings".

Currently, no main event has been booked for UFC 225. There is no deal for CM Punk to fight anywhere.

The following video was made by Champions.co and it featured Jackson in a WWEesque promo, calling out Punk.

All we're waiting for now is a confirmation.
