Nokia 6 with 4GB RAM launched in India


HMD Global launched a new variant of the Nokia 6 smartphone in India. The new 4GB RAM variant of the Nokia 6 will be available only on Flipkart. Originally launched in August previous year with 3GB of RAM, Nokia 6 will now also be offered with 4GB of RAM.

According to HMD Global, the Nokia 6 (4GB) will go on sale starting February 20 exclusively at The Nokia 6 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage option is priced at RS 14,999 and it is exclusively available on Amazon. The recommended best buy price of the smartphone is Rs 16,999, which also puts it directly in competition with the recently launched Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro (6GB RAM) variant.

Featuring a metallic unibody design, each Nokia 6 unit is carved out of a single block of 6000 series aluminium, the Nokia 6 is sturdy phone.

Now the company is bringing us the 4GB RAM variant also. This is another variant of the last year's Nokia 6 2017. Additionally, there is a launch offer of an extra Rs 2,000 off on exchange.

Recollecting some key specifications, the Nokia 6 sports a 5.5-inch full HD with a screen resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 2.5d curved display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC with octa-core CPU and 4G VoLTE support. The storage is further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. In terms of the software, the Nokia 6 still comes with Android 7.1.1 Nougat on-board, but you will be able to update the phone immediately to Android 8.0 Oreo. It is fueled by a non-removable 3000 mAh battery which may last for a day or two easily depending on the usage. It is powered by a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, Phase Detection Autofocus and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 84-degree lens.
