The forecast for Friday through Wednesday is calling for continued cold conditions. However, the wet or snow covered roadways will begin to freeze as air temperatures drop. Windy, with a north northwest wind 18 to 28 miles per hour. South wind around 5 miles per hour. Southeast wind around 10 miles per hour.

Saturday, there is a 30 percent chance of snow with a high near 20, the weather service said. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

THURSDAY: Mostly cloudy with a 20 percent chance for shower or two.

Wind chill will be a factor too because of gusty winds from the northwest. Blustery, with a north northwest wind 20 to 25 miles per hour, with gusts as high as 35 miles per hour. Winds could gust as high as 30 miles per hour. Clouds increase Wednesday afternoon with skies becoming overcast Wednesday evening as a warm front moves towards the region from the southwest. West/northwest winds 5-10 miles per hour. Breezy, with a south southwest wind 8 to 13 miles per hour increasing to 18 to 23 miles per hour in the afternoon.
