The OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition was the second option from OnePlus which the company offered a day after launching the base model of OnePlus 5T in Midnight Black color variant. The Lava Red variant comes with similar features and specifications as the original model in Midnight Black that was launched in November a year ago.
OnePlus says, "Inspired by the dynamic nature of lava with colors that change under different types of light, the radiant Lava Red color shade is achieved through an accurate combination of temperature, consistency and baking time with less than 0.01% variation". The Lava Red 5T is identical to the standard 5T except for the rear panel's colour.
OnePlus has launched the Lava Red Edition of its flagship device, the OnePlus 5T in India.
The OnePlus 5T will be first device from the company to feature an immersive display with a resolution of 18:9. "We are happy to kickstart 2018 with the much requested OnePlus 5T Lava Red edition, our first ever red smartphone, that will certainly appeal to those looking for the flawless balance of handsome design and powerful features". The Oneplus 5T smartphone runs on Android Nougat OS and it will soon get the Android Oreo Update. The device is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45GHz coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. The smartphone is backed by a 3300mAh battery that supports OnePlus' proprietary Dash Charging technology. The phone sports a 16-megapixel primary sensor and a 20-megapixel secondary sensor on the back, with f/1.7 aperture, while a 16-megapixel camera is there on the front. The OnePlus 5T will come with a dual-nano SIM slot too.
