Manchester United offered chance to sign PSG's Lucas Moura

Having played only 72 minutes this season, the Brazilian is keen on a move to the Premier League and the move looks very likely to be completed in the coming few days. He is not looking at swapping PSG for AS Monaco or Lyon. The PSG wideman was a transfer target for the Merseyside club two years ago, but no negotiations took place between the two clubs.

The signing of Neymar in the summer has contributed to less game time for the forward who also sees himself behind Kylian Mbappe in the pecking order.

"Some players who play less, maybe they can be protagonists of another team because they are good players and do not have the opportunity to play here, like Lucas Moura or Hatem Ben Arfa", Emery explained.

According to UOL, Manchester United have made contacts through intermediaries, and after knowing about the player's interest in making the move, promised they would make an offer to Paris Saint Germain.

Here's how Mourinho's men could line up with the 25-year-old in the side.

Lucas has made it clear that he has Manchester United as his favourite destination, and that's something PSG don't like much.

The French giants want £35.5million for the Brazilian - and ditched him for the Wednesday night cup win over Amiens - but United are believed to be ready to offer half that.

United are believed to have asked PSG about the possibility of taking the Brazil winger on loan, but the Ligue 1 side are said to prefer a permanent deal and know that Liverpool are armed with the proceeds of the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

And bookmakers Betfair have responded by pricing United at 5/6 to land Moura before the January window closes.
