White House Spokesperson Sarah Sanders has promised to read out to reporters the results of Trump's exam as soon as they are available, CNN reported.

"I think it is going to go very well, I would be surprised if it didn't", Trump told reporters Thursday, a day before the exam at the USA military's Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. "I'll be very surprised if it doesn't".

I would suggest that, along with the physical exam Trump is to undergo this week, he should also be examined by a physician who is educated and experienced in diagnosing neurocognitive disorders such as Alzheimer's and dementia. Trump has decried the instant best-seller as "phony" and "full of lies". He was backed in this by his long-term doctor, Harold Bornstein, who penned a letter in December 2015 declaring: "If elected, Mr Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency".

But the White House was dealt a blow when a federal judge Tuesday night temporarily blocked the administration's decision to end DACA.

Trump was 70 when he took office, a year older than Ronald Reagan, America's next oldest president at the time of being sworn in.

It's not known if Trump will receive a mental health screening, though the Obama and Bush medical reports noted that exams showed normal neurological function.

"Many of you yourselves have reported on the fact that the president exhibits yeoman-like work every day in this job", deputy press secretary Hogan Gidley told reporters Monday. "Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames". Under the First Amendment people are free to denigrate and offend the president or anyone else, a freedom with which the president should be well-acquainted given his own penchant for insulting political opponents.

Representatives, including Lee, on behalf of the National Coalition of Concerned Mental Health Experts, issued a statement citing Trump's comments as evidence of his mental "unraveling".

Do presidents have to have a physical while they are in office? He does, however, drink gallons of Diet Coke per week, cans of which he summons with a red button.

Trump takes Crestor for his cholesterol, a low-dose aspirin for heart attack prevention, Propecia to treat male-pattern baldness and antibiotics for rosacea.

Famously, Trump has never smoked and drunk alcohol as his alcoholic brother Fred died aged just 43.

The US president was speaking from prepared notes as he announced a plan to look at the country's libel laws at a White House Cabinet meeting. Sanders blamed that on a dry throat.

Questions have already been asked about whether Trump is mentally unfit to the President of the United States, based on his aggressive posts on Twitter and claims he has slurred speeches.

In early December, 2017, Yale Psychiatrist Brandy Lee met with over a dozen members of Congress to discuss Donald Trump's mental fitness.
