James Franco Slammed by Ally Sheedy After Golden Globes Win

Sarah Tither-Kaplan, who was once Franco's student at his acting school, claimed that he exploited her by asking her to strip down on set for $100 per day after Tither-Kaplan signed a "vague and general at best" contract.

James Franco was one of many actors and filmmakers at the 2018 Golden Globes to show their support for the Time's Up campaign supporting victims of sexual harassment and abuse - but the Disaster Artist has been accused of the same abusive behaviour.

Though the 55-year-old didn't straight up accuse The Disaster Artist star of any wrongdoing in her posts, other women did.

During the award ceremony, actress Ally Sheedy, best known for her role in the coming-of-age comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club, also shared a series of cryptic tweets questioning Franco's presence at the event.

A third scathed: "James Franco blocking Tommy Wiseau from the mic is real swamp vermin behaviour, can't believe he's done this". Others pointed to the incident in 2014 where the actor was caught trying to arrange a hotel hookup with a 17 year old.

Offering a taste of his incredible Wiseau impression, Franco revealed how life had come full circle for Wiseau as he accepted the award. "Said. too much. Nite love ya".

In another provocative tweet, Sheedy apparently called out Franco and actor Christian Slater for sexual harassment/abuse. "Please never ever ask me why I left the film/tv business", she fumed. "'Golden Globes, so what?"

"He wasn't in character as Tommy Wiseau, but once he started the day doing Tommy's voice, he would spend the rest of the day doing the voice", Mantzoukas said. I think he make a big effort, which sometimes from the outside is extremely hard to understand that.
