Hall out of Belfort fight after apparent seizure

Louis card on Sunday night was supposed to bring about the final MMA fight of Vitor Belfort's legendary career.

The UFC has not yet stated whether or not the bout will be rescheduled for a future date.

UFC strawweight fighter Paige VanZant, who is on the same card, said on social media that it was the scariest things she'd ever seen.

Each of his past five fights has gone the distance, with his hand getting raised just twice during that stretch.

It looks like Vitor Belfort will be putting his retirement or UFC exit plans on hold for now because he will no longer be fighting Uriah Hall this weekend. Moving to the main card is the featherweight bout between Darren Elkins and Michael Johnson, while the bantamweight clash between Kyung Ho Kang and Guido Cannetti moves to the FS1 prelims.

Hall is listed as a consensus -310 favorite and has seen five of his past six bouts end inside the distance, with three finishing before the first-round bell. Hall (13-8), last fought against Krzysztof Jotko at UFC Pittsburgh in September. The 40-year-old Brazilian had not gone the distance in nearly a decade, and 21 of his wins have come by finish (18 knockouts and three submissions). Belfort suffered three TKO defeats in as many fights before that, though the most recent of those losses was overturned after Kelvin Gastelum failed a drug test for marijuana metabolites.
