Floyd Mayweather Sr. pleads not guilty to punching woman

Officers were summoned on September 17 to a local hospital where a woman was claiming she'd been injured by Mayweather Sr.as they'd left the bout between Saul "Canelo" Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin the night before, Metro Officer Adan Ocampo-Gomez said today.

Mayweather Sr., 65, was charged January 16 with misdemeanor assault and battery for allegedly punching a woman during an altercation after the Gennady Golovkin-Canelo Alvarez bout in Las Vegas on September 16.

When they got into the vehicle, their argument escalated, so Mayweather Sr. yelled for Robbinson-Byrd to get out of his auto.

Floyd Mayweather Jr's father has been charged with battery for allegedly attacking a woman after a fight in Las Vegas.

Mayweather Sr then allegedly punched the victim in the leg when she was finally out of the auto.

According to TMZ, Mayweather Sr. got into a "heated confrontation" after the Gennady Golovkin versus Canelo Alvarez fight outside of the T-mobile Arena.

OcampoGomez says the 59-year-old woman was treated at a hospital for bruises.

Senior's team say the woman is, "trying to extort money and she's angry because she's not getting the money from Floyd".

Floyd turned himself Tuesday. and the warrant was canceled.

Mayweather Sr.'s next court case is scheduled for March 27.

On Thursday, Sr.'s attorney appeared before a Vegas judge. and pled not guilty on Mayweather's behalf.
