Critics' Choice Awards 2018: 'Shape of Water,' 'Big Little Lies' win big!

Taking to Instagram on Friday, the Australia actor shared a series of photos with Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi and Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot.

Some stars found a better use for their limited time, forwarding the message of the #TimesUp movement.

The Isreali actor was presented with the prestigious award, which recognises women who push the boundaries in entertainment, for her performance in Wonder Woman. "She commands the attention of the world, and in doing so, she sets a positive example for humanity".

Besides attending the Critics Choice Awards Chris also accepted Frances Mcdormand best actress award for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri on her behalf. She concluded her inspiring acceptance speech with a commitment to "never be silenced" and continue to work together toward a common goal of equality.

The film wasn't deemed the best comedy, though: That award went to "The Big Sick".

In November, Variety reported that Prince was reportedly in talks to join Jolie in Disney's live-action adaptation of The One and Only Ivan, so we'll be seeing more of her in the coming months.

"I love being an actor", said the 50-year-old Oscar victor. "It's time for us to shut up, listen, and amplify".

Prada had another victor with this red stunner on Olivia Munn, who hosted the awards show.

No offense meant to Zooey Deschanel, but Munn was totally adorkable.as in she was a dork, able to make us wince and cringe at her awkwardness.

"This is such a big honor, all the nominees are great", she said.

While Gary Oldman cleaned up best actor for his role as Winston Churchill in Darkest Hour.

It is far from assured that The Shape of Water, which won best picture at the Critics' Choice Awards, will do the same at the Oscars, since the Oscars employ a preferential ballot, which the Critics' Choice Awards do not, and that can affect things a lot.
