New York Knicks big man Kristaps Porzingis apparently felt improvement in his injured knee Friday but is still listed as day-to-day and questionable for Saturday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
Anthony said after a triple-overtime victory in Philadelphia on Friday that he expected a fun night in NY. "I think that change sometimes is hard".
In his third season, Porzingis appears to be fulfilling the promise that he showed in his first two years, playing like one of the league's top stars. But the 22-year-old's momentum has already been halted multiple times, leaving Knicks' fans wondering when their greatest fear regarding Porzingis might finally be realized. Regardless, I always stuck with it. But that will always be a part of me. "Hopefully people recognize that". I want to win because I'm on the opposite team now.
"The damage was done at that point", Anthony said, referring to a trade being the best resolution for both he and the Knicks. I know he wants to win. "I am featured more, which is normal". "For him, it was also hard", said Porzingis, whose availability for Saturday's game is unclear because of a knee injury.

Jackson and Anthony clashed over playing style and offensive system, with Jackson looking to install the triangle, something that didn't mesh well with Anthony. I hope NY can do it.
"A lot of those guys on that team are close friends", Anthony said, per Yahoo Sports. But in Porzingis and rookie Frank Ntilikina, the Knicks' better days are definitively ahead of them. Doug McDermott is bringing another 8.5 points a night off the bench. Up next, the 10-time NBA All-Star will return to the building where he spent seven seasons of his illustrious career before he was traded to the Thunder this offseason. He went into Friday's game averaging just 17.7 points on 40 percent shooting before scoring 24 points. Anthony formed a Big 3 with fellow All-Stars Russell Westbrook and Paul George, an experiment that hasn't gone as desired thus far. "I ain't going nowhere". "I don't see why they wouldn't receive him with love". "I am anxious about the Knicks".
Anthony's willingness to accept and understand that his time in NY had run its course accelerated the rebuilding process. And his stance toward Anthony last season angered teammates who appreciated the veteran's efforts on and off the court.
He later departed when the knee didn't feel stable. He looks happy after he was so disillusioned by the atmosphere under Jackson that he blew off his exit meeting last spring.
The Knicks seem to be in a better position without Anthony.
"I believe that. I believe that", he said.
